THE GIG

The successful Real Estate Development Manager candidate must have a proven track record with sourcing, qualifying and securing real estate + development opportunities in non-traditional venues. This individual will have a strong background enabling accelerated growth, setting and exceeding goals and a high level of business acumen combined with the ability to think strategically. Negotiating and closing deals comes naturally to you, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where being autonomous while working collaboratively rules the way you work.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manages the execution + development of new shop locations.

 Develops and executes the annual AOP for Non Traditional Development within assigned area.

 Manages the nontraditional development pipeline and end-of period reporting of nontraditional projects.

 Supports the overall goals of the development team.

 Develops new Non-Traditional shops to include but not limited to airports, universities, stadiums and more.

 Uses industry and channel expertise to target leaders and premium long-term relationships.

 Owns the development process from identifying through lease signing (signed agreement).

 Supports cross-functional roles to deliver shop opening, and on-going relationship management.

 Conveys detailed understanding of restaurant operations and profitability, demonstrates a strong business acumen.

 Stays current with industry trends as it relates to brand positioning for non-traditional restaurant portfolios.

 Attends relevant trade shows to network for new candidates and industry information.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 Must have a college degree

 Minimum 3-5 years’ non-traditional sales and development experience

 Full service, casual or family dining, QSR franchise operations industry experience

 Ability to travel, minimum 50%

 Possesses a high degree of independent drive with a proven track record of achieving results

 Experience working independently

 Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
