Salon Manager - Multiple Locations in New York City and Washington, DC

 Seeking a few dynamic Salon Managers to join a growing multi-location brand of salons working in laser hair technology and waxing. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned salon location, ensuring that processes are being executed accurately and efficiently, revenue goals are being met, budgets are being managed, clients are having the best salon experience, and team members are being grown and developed. The Salon Manager directly supervises all employees at their assigned location and reports to the Director of Operations. 
 
Responsibilities:
Maintain standard work schedule based upon salon location needsDevelop and maximize the salon schedule, including front desk, service specialists, coverage of time off, and overtimeRun salon events and head new client acquisition for assigned salon locationMaintain and manage a high level of customer service, and ensuring that all salon team members are upholding brand standards for customer serviceContribute to social media content in coordination with Marketing and Sales departmentsOversee salon teams’ execution of all salon processes, ensuring accuracy, effectiveness and efficiencyProvide regular process coaching and error correction to salon teams, using disciplinary action when neededCommunicate process feedback up to Director of Operations and internal departmentsCommunicate and train salon team members on process changes and developments, ensuring their full understandingRegularly monitor all salon systems, including Book4Time (point-of-sale), Basecamp (project management), Outlook (calendar), and TrackSmart (scheduling)Ensure salon location is meeting revenue goals, providing coaching and insight as needed to salon team members; Drive Product, Package Sales and number of servicesManage established budgets for: Inventory (COGS, general salon supply), Scheduling (specialist and front desk), Client Experience (experience discounts), Repairs & Maintenance (utilities)Manage growth and development of all salon team members; regularly work on salon scorecards and performance points; regularly check in on their team members’ growth to understand promotion pipeline and overall team health; Perform quarterly performance reviews with salon team membersMaintain the salon space to company standardsFollow and manage all salon operational proceduresSubmit payroll for processing at regular intervalsManage inventory process with KH2Attend all Manager training courses; Attend daily, weekly and monthly skype/conference callsRecruiting salon team members when needed
 
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a manager in a salon, personal services, hospitality or retail environment
Schedule flexibility with the ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional attention-to-detail
Strong organization and prioritization skills
Ability to multi-task and jump from item to item with ease
Ability to thrive under pressure and sometimes “put out fires” that arise in the salon
Legal authorization to work in the U.S., with proper documentation
Ability to lift 30 lbs
Willingness to participate in a criminal background check if extended an offer
